Cabinet approves National Gender Policy

Cabinet has approved the National Gender Policy to mainstream gender equality concerns into the national development process for equitable livelihood for both sexes, and children.

Members of the Society of Private Medical and Dental Practitioners of Ghana have given the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) a two weeks ultimatum to pay their six months outstanding claims or they would turn down patients with NHIA cards.

WASSCE: 99,917 Fail Science And Maths

Results released by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) indicate only 25.29% of candidates who took the May/June 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) obtained A1-C6 in mathematics while 29.75% had D7-E8 and 37.17% had F9.
